We are seeking a Systems Administrator to join our Task Order proposal on the Defense Intelligence Agency’s Solutions for the Information Technology Enterprise III (SITE III). The Systems Administrator maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network engineers.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Systems Administrator is expected to be able to accomplish the following:

  • Monitors and manages system resources, including CPU usage, disk usage, and response times to maintain operating efficiency.
  • Performs systems security administration functions, including creating user profiles and accounts.
  • Other duties may include setting up administrator accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocating mass storage space.
  • Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products. Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery.
  • Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
  • May be assigned responsibility for less experienced staff.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Active TS/SCI + CI Poly clearance
  • HS, 8-10 years of relevant experience; BS, 2-4 years; MS, 0-2
  • One of the following DoD 8570/CS-NET-451 certifications is required:
    • Security+ CE
    • SSCP
    • CySA+
    • GSEC

WAGE INFORMATION

Target salary range: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00. The salary range displayed is an estimate only and is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, and will be determined on several factors regarding the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract parameters and organizational requirements. The displayed salary is one component of the total compensation package for employees.
