About the Position

The company is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations on ground-up industrial and warehouse developments throughout the Greater Atlanta market. The Superintendent will serve as the on-site leader, coordinating all field activities while ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

This position is ideal for a construction professional with extensive industrial construction experience who excels at leading subcontractors, maintaining aggressive schedules, and delivering successful projects from groundbreaking through turnover.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all day-to-day field operations from site mobilization through project completion
  • Direct and coordinate subcontractors to maintain production schedules and project milestones
  • Monitor project progress and proactively address field challenges to minimize delays
  • Ensure all work complies with project plans, specifications, and quality standards
  • Coordinate inspections, testing, and project approvals with local authorities and third-party agencies
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and productive jobsite while enforcing OSHA regulations and company safety policies
  • Oversee manpower planning, equipment utilization, and site logistics
  • Conduct daily jobsite walks to monitor quality, safety, and schedule performance
  • Collaborate closely with Project Managers, engineers, architects, and owners to ensure seamless project execution
  • Utilize Procore to maintain daily reports, project documentation, punch lists, and field communications
  • Lead subcontractor meetings and communicate project updates to the construction team
  • Drive projects to successful completion while maintaining exceptional standards of safety, quality, and client satisfaction

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of Superintendent experience in commercial construction
  • Proven experience leading ground-up industrial or warehouse construction projects
  • Tilt-up warehouse construction experience is strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated success managing subcontractors on complex commercial construction projects
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, site logistics, and quality control
  • Experience coordinating inspections, permitting, and project closeout activities
  • Proficiency with Procore and the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred but not required
  • Stable work history with a track record of successfully delivering large-scale construction projects
