Job description

POSITION SUMMARY: 

  • Post transactions and categorize records in the general ledger
  • Conduct month-end and year-end closures
  • Prepare monthly journal entries
  • Prepare accurate monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
  • Assist with Annual and periodic audits
  • Assist the Controller with month-end close responsibilities
  • Report to the Controller and work to improve financial processes
  • Perform Full Cycle Accounting for subsidiary companies
  • Prepare and file tax documents
  • Analyze department processes and procedures and recommend improvements as needed
  • Perform other duties as needed to assist the Finance Department

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • At least two years' experience in accounting or a related field
  • Highly organized, professional and detail oriented
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Proficient with Excel and a general understanding of how Accounting systems operate
  • Customer service oriented
  • Superior organizational and time management skills
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
