Job Description: • Technical Leader for all personnel engaged in the delivery of enterprise scale solutions.
• Leads and participates in complex operating systems, systems software planning and implementation, and production support activities.
• Plans, designs, and implements various systems by conducting market research, evaluates new technologies and attends business/technical meetings to brief and discuss to ensure clarity, alignment and accountability in planning and executing tasks in a timely manner.
• Interfaces with Contractor and Government personnel, confers with equipment and software vendors, and directs subordinate personnel to take appropriate courses of action.
• Provide security operations or coordinates security operations functions in support of cybersecurity accreditation - risk management framework (RMF) continuous monitoring process.
• Maintains a current understanding of emerging technologies and trends in cloud service and relevant application and system technologies.
• Also, responsible for writing, editing, and preparing graphical presentations of technical information.
• This position requires the person(s) to be eligible and adjudicated to TS/SCI clearance level at contract start. Required Skills and Experiences: • Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive experience in operating computer systems.
• Must have minimum of three years supervisory.
• Experience in engineering data center.
• Broad experience with virtualized environments, and a variety of technologies supporting computing capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to provide an outstanding customer service experience in a variety of circumstances across all organizational levels.
• Experience and Knowledge of some of the following: Windows Server, VMware, and a variety of system level applications.
• Familiarity and or experience with cloud-based services and environments (E.g., MS Azure and AWS DevOps environment, Kubernetes, clusters, containers.
• etc.) MS Azure Role-based certifications (e.g., Azure administrator associate, solutions architect expert), VMware Certified Professional (VCP) certifications preferred.
• Position requires minimum of CompTIA Security+.
• Position shall meet the requirements of an IAT II per the DoD 8570.01-M. Degree Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Information Systems Technology or a related field is preferred; however, equivalent technical certifications or demonstrable experience will be considered.
