Expected salary range of $111,600 to $124,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).
Primary Purpose of Position
Responsible for performing technical tasks, under general supervision, in support of artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled solutions, automation, data-informed process improvements, and digital tools that support Constellation business objectives and operations. This role applies technical principles to develop, test, implement, and improve AI-enabled solutions, while exercising increasing independence and accountability for work quality, compliance, documentation, and stakeholder support. The role supports the continued adoption of AI within Constellation Generation by identifying practical opportunities to simplify workflows, reduce manual effort, improve worker efficiency, and enhance consistency. The role partners with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and technology partners to support requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, adoption, monitoring, and ongoing improvement in accordance with applicable safety, security, governance, regulatory, and responsible AI expectations.
Primary Duties and Accountabilities
  • Perform technical tasks as assigned by supervision, applying general engineering principles to AI-enabled solutions, automation, data analysis, workflow improvement, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and PowerBI reporting and dashboard creation.
  • Assure AI, automation, data, and engineering products prepared are in accordance with applicable safety analyses, regulatory requirements, cyber security standards, data governance expectations, responsible AI guidance, and approved business processes.
  • Participate in the development, implementation, deployment, adoption, monitoring, and continuous improvement of AI-enabled solutions, Copilot agents, workflow automations, and related digital tools at appropriate levels of detail and in compliance with established policies, procedures, and governance expectations.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, engineering personnel, Information Technology, cyber security, data governance, and compliance partners to ensure solutions are practical, maintainable, secure, and aligned with Constellation standards; recommend format, methodology, process, or usability improvements to standard tools, workflows, and procedures.
  • All other job assignments and/or duties pursuant to company policy or as directed by management to include but not limited to: Emergency Response duties and/or coverage, Department duty coverage and/or call out, and positions outside of department in support of outage activities, etc.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Analytics, Information Technology, Engineering or related degree with 2 years related experience, OR
  • Associate's degree in computer science, Data Analytics, Information Technology, Engineering or related degree with 4 years related experience, OR
  • High school diploma/GED with 6 years related experience
  • 2-years' experience with artificial intelligence, automation, and data-related concepts and tools, including generative AI, large language models (LLMs), prompt design, data quality, Python, SQL, Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Automate, and other low-code solutions
  • Maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties

Preferred Qualifications
  • Coursework, internship, co-op, project experience involving LLMs, Python, SQL, Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure AI, Claude, Power Platform, Power Automate, data analytics, low-code solutions, or similar AI and automation tools
  • Relevant Certifications for Microsoft Power Platform or Azure
  • Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent experience
  • Exposure to power plants, energy, utility, industrial, or other highly regulated operating environments
