Job description

The Mission

As an Associate Solutions Architect, you will own the technical enablement, custom solutions, and implementation lifecycles for our largest roofing clients. In this role, you will act as a critical technical bridge between our roofing customers and product engineering, translating complex workflows into tangible software configurations. Your work will directly solve the operational friction field teams experience while heavily influencing a net-new product coming to market. Success in year one looks like scaling our roofing sector implementations, deploying low-code/AI-driven internal tools, and facilitating seamless API integrations with financing and other partners.

Who We Are

SalesRabbit is the operating system for field sales and roofing contractors. We replace the chaos of manual tracking with an end-to-end production-to-payment system that handles everything from the first website click to the final invoice. Our software combines online lead creation, field territory management, instant estimates, and a roofing-specific CRM.

With our headquarters in Lehi, Utah, a RoofLink office in Round Rock, Texas, and a growing team of over 100, we are building an AI-native product organization. We use automation to turn messy field data into clear operational leverage, giving business owners the visibility they need to scale and reps the tools they need to close deals faster.

What You'll Do
  • Own pre-sale technical discovery, scoping, and proof-of-concept builds for key roofing prospects, stepping in as the primary technical resource for the sales team.
  • Lead post-sale implementation, deployment, and onboarding - project-managing custom Statements of Work (SOW) from kickoff to a live, adopted solution.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex configuration and data-layer challenges as a Tier 2/3 technical resource, digging into customer environments, API documentation, and webhooks.
  • Audit data sync accuracy and resolve structural configuration requests by querying system databases in MySQL and PostgreSQL.
  • Build automated internal delivery workflows and custom solutions using no-code/low-code environments and modern AI coding assistants (such as Claude Code).
  • Configure specialized partner integrations, linking data streams between financing partners and webhooks.
  • Partner with Product Engineering, providing structured feedback loops that directly influence and refine a net-new product coming to market.
  • Serve as the internal Subject Matter Expert on the roofing solution set, and partner with existing customers to uncover optimization opportunities that maximize their business value.
  • Map technical environments, data pathways, and client workflows and document architectural playbooks and configuration criteria in Jira and Confluence.
What We Are Looking For

Required

  • 1-3 years in a customer-facing technical role - Solutions Architecture, Technical Onboarding, Solutions Engineering, or Tier 2/3 Technical Support.
  • Practical experience running queries in MySQL or PostgreSQL, plus a comfortable understanding of API documentation and webhooks.
  • Proven ability to learn new tools quickly, including low-code/no-code platforms, AI development tools (e.g., Claude Code), and diagramming software.
  • Exceptional verbal and written technical communication - able to explain complex configurations clearly to both customer stakeholders and product developers.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field (Computer Science, Information Systems, or Information Technology), or an equivalent combination of education and hands-on technical experience.

Nice To Have

  • Prior experience working within or supporting the Roofing or Field Services industries.
  • Daily working experience across Jira and Confluence
Who Thrives Here

At SalesRabbit, we hire for operating cadence and mindset. The people who do best here share a few things in common:

  • Active Curiosity - You seek root causes before proposing solutions and stay ahead of industry trends and tools.
  • Grit & Scrappiness - You roll up your sleeves on hard, ambiguous, unglamorous work. You build from scratch and clean up inherited debt.
  • Extreme Ownership - You take accountability for outcomes, proactively communicate blockers, and deliver with minimal oversight.
  • Bias Toward Impact - You measure success by business outcome, not effort. You course-correct fast and without ego.
  • Team-First Collaboration - You listen to understand, give credit generously, and push back when something is wrong - to protect the outcome, not win the argument.
  • Technical Agility & Fast Learning - You pick up new systems, platforms, and automated frameworks quickly, without waiting for a structured playbook.
  • Translational Architecture - You capture unstructured customer needs and scope them into precise technical configurations, diagrams, and SOW items.

.

Benefits
  • 20 days of PTO + 10 paid holidays
  • Medical, Vision, Dental, and Basic Life Insurance
  • 401(k) 100% matching up to 4% of salary
  • Company phone plan covering service for employee and spouse/child

SalesRabbit is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and is committed to providing employment opportunities regardless of race, religious creed, color, national origin, ancestry, physical disability, mental disability, medical condition, genetic information, marital status, sex, gender, gender identity, gender expression, pregnancy, childbirth and breastfeeding, age, sexual orientation, military or veteran status, or any other protected classification.
