Job Summary:
RIT Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer II with a focus on COBOL programming. The role involves coding, testing, and debugging programs, as well as interfacing with users and providing status reports on projects.
Responsibilities:
• Codes and prepares test data.
• Codes, tests, and debugs programs.
• Evaluates and modifies existing programs.
• Documents procedures used for completed programs.
• Provides timely status reports on all completed, on-going and future projects in order to keep management updated on progress.
• Interfaces with users to develop procedures.
• Analyzes system solutions.
• Performs on-call responsibilities.
• Performs other related work as assigned.

• Strong COBOL experience
• Actuarial knowledge
• General accounting knowledge
• LifePro experience desired
• SQL experience desired
