Responsibilities:

  • Collaborative partner: Working with our team of scrum masters, product owners and fellow engineers, you'll tackle technical challenges and ensure quality as we deliver and maintain performant, cloud based applications that solve business problems
  • Comprehensive problem-solver: As you manage the end-to-end development of software products, you'll analyze issues at the system level and handle any complications that arise by implementing effective solutions 
  • Skilled technical engineer: You'll document and lead the implementation of technical features, improvements and innovations 
  • Forward thinker: Simply fixing the problem isn't enough; using your proactive mindset and initiative, you'll continually look for ways to improve performance, quality and efficiency 
Qualifications
  • More than 3 years of experience in software engineering, with proficiency in Agile development, JavaScript frameworks (Node.js, Angular, React, Next.js), backend development using Java Spring Boot, database management with SQL and NoSQL databases, API design with GraphQL, version control with Git/GitHub, UI styling with Bootstrap, and secure authentication using OAuth2.
  • Solid understanding of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) & architecture patterns (serverless, microservice, event-driven)
  • Solid programming discipline: unit testing, fault tolerance, data structures, complexity analysis, design patterns, etc.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and techniques (GitHub, GitHub Actions [GHA], Jira), containerization (Kubernetes), and DevOps practices
  • Experience with genAI for software engineering
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; presentation skills
  • Proficient in negotiation, facilitation and consensus building skills
  • Openness and adaptability to respond to fast-moving circumstances
  • Extensive knowledge of IT concepts, strategies, methodologies and technical standards, security and privacy policies
  • Extensive understanding of agile software development concepts and processes.
  • Extensive understanding of backlog tracking, burndown metrics, and incremental delivery.
  • Strong collaboration, team first mentality, prioritization, and adaptability skills required
  • A Bachelors or Master's degree in technical or business discipline or equivalent experience
