Position Status: Contract (Full Time)
Pay Rate: $70.00/hour
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join a dynamic team supporting high-security applications in Owego, NY. In this role, you will design, develop, test, and debug sophisticated software solutions primarily utilizing C++, ensuring alignment with stringent security and performance standards. Your expertise in embedded programming and CI/CD pipelines will contribute to building reliable, scalable, and mission-critical systems. This position offers the opportunity to work onsite in a classified environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful technological solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain C++ code for secure processing applications in a classified environment
  • Develop new applications and maintain legacy code used across various systems
  • Enhance and maintain CI/CD pipelines to optimize development workflows
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop, test, and deploy prototypes and full-scale systems
  • Ensure all software complies with security and performance standards
  • Debug, document, and provide operational instructions for software solutions

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 6+ years of experience in Embedded C/C++ programming
  • Extensive experience with CI/CD pipelines (6+ years)
  • Bachelor's degree with 9-15 years of professional experience, or Master's degree with 7-13 years of experience
  • Active security clearance (Secret)

Preferred Skills:
  • Bare metal programming experience
  • Hardware driver development expertise
