Job description

Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Associate Software Engineer to join our Master Data Management (MDM) product line within Precisely's Data Integrity Suite.ย  In this role, you will build modern, enterprise-grade, AIfirst user interfaces that enable customers to manage and interact with trusted, high-quality data across workflows, integrations, and analytics. You will work closely with backend engineers, product managers, UX designers, and platform teams to deliver intuitive, scalable, and high-performance frontend experiences. As part of an AIfirst engineering organization, you will use AI tools as a core part of designing, building, testing, and optimizing frontend applications. You will be expected to apply AI to accelerate development, improve code quality, and enhance problem-solving while maintaining strong engineering judgment. You will work closely with engineers, architects, and product teams to deliver scalable, reliable, production-ready capabilities that address real customer needs.

What you will do:

  • Build responsive, scalable, and reusable UI components using modern frameworks (Angular/React)
  • Translate UX designs and product requirements into high-quality, production-ready interfaces
  • Integrate frontend components with backend APIs and services supporting MDM workflows
  • Ensure performance, accessibility, and responsiveness across web applications
  • Use AI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, etc.) to accelerate UI development, debugging, and testing
  • Evaluate and validate AI-generated UI code for correctness, maintainability, and security
  • Write unit and integration tests to ensure frontend quality and reliability
  • Debug UI issues, performance bottlenecks, and cross-browser compatibility problems
  • Contribute to frontend architecture, coding standards, and best practices
  • Collaborate with UX, Product, Backend, QA, and Platform teams
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and code reviews
  • Continuously learn and adopt new frontend technologies and AI-assisted workflows

What we are looking for:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related fieldย (Equivalent work experience will be accepted in place of the education requirement)
  • Years of experience: 1-2 years of experience in software development
  • Specific technical or software skills required: React/Angular
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks (Angular or React)
  • Understanding of web application architecture and REST APIs
  • Basic understanding of state management, component architecture, and UI design patterns
  • Knowledge of responsive design, browser compatibility, and performance optimization
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Test-driven development mindset with understanding of unit test patterns, mocking strategies, and test quality gates

AI Skills/Knowledge:ย 

  • Hands-on experience using AI tools for UI development, debugging, and productivity (Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, etc.)

  • Eagerness to adopt AI-assisted software engineering development practices and agentic workflows as part of daily work
