Kforce has a client in Winchester, VA (hybrid) seeking a Software Engineer (Cloud & Full Stack Development). Are you a software engineer passionate about building innovative solutions in a mission-driven environment? We are seeking an experienced developer to design, develop, and deliver scalable applications leveraging cloud technologies and modern software engineering practices. What You'll Do: * Design, develop, test, and implement software applications using Agile methodologies * Build and maintain full-stack solutions utilizing both front-end and back-end technologies * Develop, enhance, and maintain source code for new and existing applications * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex technical challenges * Support cloud-based application development and modernization initiatives * Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle * 5+ years of software development experience * 4+ years of experience in at least one of the following: AWS Cloud Solutions; Python; C#;Java * Experience developing applications in Linux environments * Experience with Java and JavaScript development * Experience building end-to-end software solutions using front-end and back-end technologies * Experience writing, modifying, and enhancing application source code * Experience working within Agile development environments * Proven ability to collaborate effectively within technical teams to deliver solutions * Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with Java frameworks and libraries such as Spring, MongoDB, and OSGi * Experience with Perl, Python, Lua, and NGINX * Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment This is an opportunity to work alongside talented engineers on complex technology initiatives while utilizing modern development practices and cloud technologies.
