Entry-Level IT Associate
Hybrid Role
Compensation: $35-40
ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client is seeking entry-level associates for their IT department through a hands-on rotational program designed to provide exposure to various functional areas. This program allows you to gain practical experience in software development, support, and maintenance, with a focus on .Net or Java and SQL programming. Upon completion of the program, you will work with your manager to identify a permanent role that aligns with your interests and career goals. The position requires regular, reliable on-site attendance and involves standard office activities, including occasional lifting.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Design, develop, implement, support, and maintain applications based on business requirements using approved technologies and coding standards
  • Create and maintain user interface patterns and standard libraries
  • Apply object-oriented principles in implementing solutions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software-related issues
  • Maintain code quality through unit testing
  • Document code appropriately for maintainability
  • Communicate with business analysts to gather accurate specifications for new enhancements and applications, and translate requirements into functional code
  • Collaborate with team members on projects
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned within the scope of the role
  • Regular and reliable in-office/on-site attendance
WHAT YOU BRING
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Educational experience in .Net or Java and SQL programming
  • Ability to design, develop, implement, support, and maintain applications using approved technologies and coding standards
  • Understanding of object-oriented programming principles
