Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Associate, OpenText Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise Customer Communication Management (CCM) solutions using OpenText Exstream. This role is responsible for building and maintaining scalable document composition applications that support critical customer communications across multiple delivery channels. Working closely with business partners, architects, infrastructure teams, and application developers, you will help modernize CCM platforms, support cloud migration initiatives, and ensure reliable, compliant document generation. The ideal candidate brings strong OpenText Exstream expertise, cloud development experience, and a collaborative approach to delivering high-quality enterprise solutions. Experience with IBM DataStage is a strong plus, enabling support for upstream data integration and enterprise workflows.
What You'll Do
  • Design, develop, and maintain OpenText Exstream document composition applications across cloud and on-premises environments, supporting high-quality, multi-channel customer communications.
  • Analyze existing CCM solutions, support Command Center migration and modernization initiatives, and partner with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable, enterprise-ready solutions.
  • Develop and execute unit testing, validate document templates, troubleshoot complex production issues, and ensure quality, compliance, and operational stability throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with architecture, infrastructure, security, and business teams to implement integrations, APIs, orchestration workflows, and CI/CD practices that align with enterprise standards.
  • Provide technical leadership through mentoring junior developers, contributing to architectural decisions, and producing clear technical documentation, design specifications, and support guides.

What You'll Bring
Required Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 6-10 years of experience developing enterprise Customer Communication Management (CCM) solutions with deep expertise in OpenText Exstream, including template development and multi-channel output (print, email, web, SMS, and archive).
  • Experience designing enterprise client/server applications and providing technical guidance for OpenText Exstream implementations.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch, networking, and security, with experience developing cloud-based applications.
  • Experience building APIs, integrations, orchestration workflows, and working with diverse enterprise data sources and messaging architectures.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and mentor less experienced developers.

Preferred Skills
  • Experience with IBM DataStage ETL design, job development, troubleshooting, or reusable component development.
  • Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation and supporting CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Experience working within financial services or other highly regulated industries supporting enterprise document management solutions.
  • AWS and/or OpenText certifications.

Pay Transparency
Salary Range: $105,000-$140,000
Overtime eligible: Exempt

Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
