WHO WE ARE
The Software Engineering Associate Manager will be the First-Line Manager (FLM) for the Launchers Software Development group reporting to the Launchers & C-UAS Engineering organization. The candidate will report directly to the Launchers & C-UAS Engineering Senior Manager and will support the maintenance and modification of multiple MK41 Vertical Launching System software products in Moorestown, New Jersey for the Sensors, Effectors, and Mission Systems business.
THE WORK
Responsibilities include:
Providing technical and administrative leadership to approximately fifteen software engineers of varied experience levels.
Coordinating direct report employee recruitment, training, performance assessment, work assignments, staffing, salary, recognition, and disciplinary actions.
Coordinating with programs on technical and staffing requirements, ensuring adherence to the engineering development processes, and collaborating with cross-functional organizations.
Reviewing business pursuits and proposals for structure and accuracy.
Perform in technical leadership and/or project management roles as needed.
WHO YOU ARE
The type of candidate we are seeking has:
An experienced background in software development.
Experience working within either the Defense or Aerospace industries as an IPT Lead or Lead Software Engineer.
Strong familiarity with development concepts, like DevSecOps, CI/CD, etc.
Demonstrated history of continual development as an engineer.
Experience presenting complex technical details and/or data to different audiences including executive leadership and customer representatives.

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance at the Secret level; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
