Job description

The Senior Software Developer is the primary hands-on builder. This role is responsible for the design, coding, and implementation of software components supporting the proprietary Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server Software Development Kit (SDK). This role involves hands-on software development, integration of AI frameworks, and implementation of robust, secure connectors for Microsoft Graph and DAF-proprietary systems.

Key Responsibilities: * SDK Implementation: Develop, test, and maintain software modules supporting the proprietary MCP Server SDK (Task 1), creating reusable libraries for future integration. * Connector Coding: Implement and optimize code for data integration with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive (using MS Graph API). * Prototype Development: Develop the proof-of-concept connector code for PMRT/CCaR (Task 2) based on the Systems Engineer's analysis.

* DevSecOps: Implement CI/CD pipelines and version control protocols to support efficient updates and configuration management within the Azure environment. * Optimization: Identify performance bottlenecks and apply software optimization and debugging techniques. * Cloud Configuration: Provision and configure the secure Azure Development Environment (App Service, SQL Database, VPN).

* Experience: Approximately 10 years of software development experience, with demonstrated proficiency in API and backend service development * Technical Skills: Strong programming skills in modern languages such as Python, TypeScript/Node.js, or C#. Familiarity with RESTful API design, JSON, and other common interface standards * Cloud Expertise: Experience developing APIs and integrations in cloud or hybrid environments (specifically Microsoft Azure and Azure OpenAI) * Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field Preferred Qualifications: * Experience developing APIs and AI/ML integrations in cloud or hybrid environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) * Familiarity with model orchestration, data pipeline frameworks, and AI agent tools * Understanding of software security, data governance, and compliance practices Work Location: El Segundo, CA (Secure Development Lab). Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners, filing cabinets and fax machines. Physical Demands This is largely a sedentary role mostly sitting; however, some filing maybe required .

This would require the ability to move files, or boxes with file data, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary, ability to lift up to 40lbs. Mental Demands: Reading; communicate effectively (verbal and written); maintain emotional control and professionalism. We hire military.
