Work Flexibility: Field-based

What you will do:

As an Associate Sales Representative Extremities, you will assist in strategically promoting and selling Stryker's products to meet our customers' needs. You confidently conduct product evaluations in Operating Room and office settings, persuasively demonstrating the value of our products. Systematically tracking your territory progress, you proactively communicate your wins with your Sales Representatives and push yourself to exceed each goal. When onsite with clients, you use your product knowledge and quick thinking to solve product problems and inform doctors, nurses, and other staff as to the proper use and maintenance of our products. Join our purpose-driven team in selling Stryker products that are making healthcare better.

  • You are directly responsible for the promotion and sale of Stryker products

  • You will educate and inform doctors, nurses, and appropriate staff personnel as to the proper use and maintenance of Stryker Products

  • You will direct product evaluations in operating rooms and office settings

  • You may assist in the preparation and operation of trade shows, conventions, and/or clinical meetings

  • You will keep Manager informed of territory progress on a regular basis

  • You will solve product problems for customers in an expeditious fashion

  • You will manage and maintain a sample inventory of products

  • You must understand and adhere to all operating room and pertinent Occupational Health and Safety Act guidelines when conducting a product evaluation

  • You have the necessary authority to execute above mentioned job responsibilities, and will have authority to carry out specific responsibilities defined by quality system documents

  • You have authority to recommend and initiate preventative and correction action with regard to product non-conformances and quality system activities

  • Other duties as assigned by Manager

What you need

Required:

  • University Degree

  • 1+ years of sales or clinical experience

Preferred:

  • Degree in business with an emphasis in marketing OR a degree in a health-related discipline, science, or kinesiology

  • 1+ years of experience in Medical Device Sales

Additional Information:

  • Must be able to travel (ground and air) to support territory responsibilities as well as company-related duties and obligations

  • Must have a valid driver's license

Canada Pay Ranges:

  • Canada: $60,000 - $70,000 CAD and is eligible to earn variable commission + benefits.
Travel Percentage: 30%
