Sales Development Representative - Shipping & Logistics | 20274

And we're looking for an Sales Development Representative to start immediately!
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  1. Prospect and qualify end shippers and freight forwarders in the tri-state area.
  2. Conduct lead and market research to identify qualified prospects.
  3. Develop and maintain relationships with potential customers.
  4. Close sales opportunities when appropriate during the prospecting process.
  5. Coordinate closed sales and bookings with the dispatcher to support fulfillment.
  6. Help maintain consistent truck utilization through quality lead generation and sales.
  7. Generate sales while maintaining the required profit margins.
Qualifications:
โ€ข Expert-level experience as a Sales Development Representative or similar sales role
โ€ข Lead generation and market research experience required
โ€ข Strong prospecting and qualification skills
โ€ข Proven ability to close sales
โ€ข Strong communication and relationship-building skills
โ€ข Ability to work independently and manage the complete sales process from prospecting through booking
โ€ข Experience in the shipping or logistics industry is highly preferred
โ€ข Experience working with end shippers and freight forwarders is an advantage
โ€ข Strong understanding of sales performance, revenue generation, and profit margins
