ONeill Insurance is seeking a driven and relationship-focused Employee Benefits Risk Advisor or Associate Risk Advisor to join our growing team. This individual will be mentored directly by our VP of Employee Benefits Sales and will play a key role in developing new business opportunities and advising employers on strategic benefits solutions.










This is an opportunity for either an experienced producer or a motivated sales professional looking to build a long-term career in employee benefits consulting. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, a growth mindset, and a passion for helping employers design competitive and sustainable benefits programs.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified employee benefits prospects
  • Generate new business through referrals, networking, outreach, and community involvement
  • Design and present group health and voluntary benefit strategies to business owners and HR leaders
  • Conduct needs analyses and recommend appropriate risk management and funding solutions
  • Prepare proposals and deliver professional sales presentations
  • Collaborate with the internal service team to support renewals, open enrollment, and client needs
  • Build long-term client relationships focused on retention and cross-selling opportunities
  • Participate in ongoing sales training and mentorship with the VP of Employee Benefits Sales
  • Maintain accurate documentation within the agency management system
  • Meet or exceed individual sales and activity goals

Requirements
  • 1 to 5 plus years of B2B sales, insurance, benefits, or related experience preferred
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong prospecting and relationship-building skills

  • Life and Health License preferred or willingness to obtain
