Job Summary

Are you passionate about real estate and have a keen interest in risk management and insurance? We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Insurance and Risk Analyst, supporting a leading real estate investment firm. As an analyst, you will play a vital role in analyzing and managing risks associated with our real estate portfolio, evaluating insurance policies, and contributing to our overall risk management strategies.

Responsibilities

Risk Analysis and Assessment

  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for the real estate portfolio, including property valuations and potential hazards.

  • Identify, evaluate, and quantify risks that may impact real estate assets and operations.

Insurance Program Management

  • Assist in the oversight of insurance programs that effectively cover risks associated with real estate properties.

  • Collaborate with insurance brokers to design solutions that align with risk management objectives.

Claims Management and Loss Control

  • Aid in the management of insurance claims related to real estate assets.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, insurance adjusters, and legal counsel to facilitate the claims process.

  • Implement loss control measures and risk mitigation strategies to minimize potential losses.

Administrative Operations

  • Manage day-to-day administrative operations within the risk management team, including certificates of insurance, contract review, and accounting/billing.

  • Assist in responding to internal stakeholder queries and concerns, resolving issues promptly.

Reporting and Analysis

  • Analyze and interpret data related to insurance claims, loss trends, market trends, and other relevant metrics.

  • Prepare reports summarizing risk analysis findings and recommended risk management strategies for senior management.

Compliance and Industry Knowledge

  • Stay up to date with real estate industry trends, insurance market trends, and emerging risks.

Requirements

Technical Skills

  • Knowledge of policy language, basic coverages, and certificates of insurance.

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint).

  • Ability to read and interpret documents and instructions from clients, lenders, consultants, and other team members.

Professional Skills

  • Professional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels with Associates and/or Clients.

  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to function in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to comply with all company policies and procedures, proactively protecting the confidentiality of client and company information.

  • Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours as needed.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.

  • One (1) to two (2) years of experience within the insurance or risk management industry.

Pay Details:

The base compensation range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000. This range reflects Acrisure's good faith estimate at the time of this posting. Placement within the range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity.

Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.
