Job description

Escrow Client Service Account Controls Associate

Bring your expertise in client service, controls, and operational risk management to one of the world's leading financial institutions. As an Escrow Client Service Account Controls Associate within Wholesale Payments, you will play a key role in supporting North America Escrow while enhancing and maintaining risk and control activities across global Escrow locations, including North America, Europe, Asia Pacific, and Latin America. You will partner closely with Client Managers, Operations, and Control teams to ensure data integrity, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support North America Escrow Client Managers by actioning client-related cases and maintaining accurate account information across multiple internal systems
  • Monitor daily cash activity, investigate overdrafts and uninvested cash balances, and coordinate resolution of outstanding items
  • Perform ongoing account maintenance reviews, including monitoring account changes and ensuring data accuracy across Escrow platforms
  • Review and analyze recurring control reports, dashboards, and account metrics to identify inconsistencies, exceptions, and potential risks
  • Execute quality assurance reviews across global Escrow locations to ensure adherence to established procedures and control standards
  • Produce and distribute monthly control metrics and management reporting for global Escrow governance forums
  • Manage periodic reviews of dormant accounts, aged receivables, return mail, and small balance accounts to support regulatory and operational requirements
  • Support Paying Agency activities and related operational processes
  • Participate in and lead small to large-scale projects focused on process improvement, risk mitigation, and operational efficiency
  • Partner with stakeholders across Operations, Client Service, and Controls to strengthen risk management and enhance the client experience

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in financial services, operations, client service, escrow, corporate trust, custody, or a related discipline
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Experience reviewing operational processes, identifying risks, and supporting a strong control environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and stakeholder groups
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with data analysis and reporting
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Experience in Escrow, Corporate Trust, Custody, or related Payments businesses
  • Knowledge of risk and control frameworks, operational risk management, and quality assurance practices
  • Familiarity with J.P. Morgan internal platforms, including Unity, CAPTIS, ESP, ECD, and iDDA
  • Experience supporting governance reporting, metrics production, and control forums
  • Understanding of tax-related processes and requirements
  • Project management and process improvement experience with a focus on operational excellence and risk reduction
