Job description

Levels: Senior · Lead · Reviewer / Associate Reviewer
Initio Sphere Private Capital Ecosystemhttps://initiosphere.org

Compensation:
$50–$200/hour, based on Reviewer Rating Score, credentials, and approval scope

About Initio Sphere

Initio Sphere is a full-service private capital ecosystem where capital meets talent. We support fund managers, investors, operators, and finance professionals across private markets by integrating deal flow, capital access, analyst and reviewer talent, investor relations, training, and job placement into a single platform.

Our mission is to promote opportunity, credibility, and real earning potential for serious private capital professionals. Once verified, reviewers are immediately activated on live transactions—no waiting, no cold applications, no unpaid work.

Role Overview

Initio Sphere is seeking experienced finance professionals to serve as Certified Private Capital Deal Reviewers.

This is not a traditional employment role. Deal Reviewers operate as independent contractors and are activated through Initio Sphere’s certification and verification process.

Once approved, Deal Reviewers:

  • Are promoted within the Initio Sphere platform

  • Gain access to real, paid deal review and diligence work

  • Support investors, fund managers, and operators by reviewing live transactions

  • Build a verified deal review track record and Reviewer Rating Score

Certification tiers:
Senior Deal Reviewer · Lead Deal Reviewer · Deal Reviewer / Associate Reviewer

Deal Reviewer Levels & Pay RangesSenior Deal Reviewer
  • Rating Score: 90–100

  • Pay: $150–200/hour

  • Typical Background:
Former investment banking, private equity, venture capital, credit, real estate, or senior consulting professionals with 5+ years of transaction experience

Lead Deal Reviewer
  • Rating Score: 80–89

  • Pay: $100–150/hour

  • Typical Background:
Finance professionals with 3–5 years of deal evaluation, underwriting, or diligence experience

Deal Reviewer / Associate Reviewer
  • Rating Score: 60–79

  • Pay: $50–100/hour

  • Typical Background:
Entry to mid-level professionals with strong technical skills and deal exposure

What You’ll Do (Approval-Based)

Depending on certification approvals, Deal Reviewers may be engaged to:

Deal Review & Validation
  • Review financial models for accuracy, assumptions, and internal consistency

  • Evaluate valuation methodologies (DCF, LBO, comps, precedent transactions)

  • Assess underwriting logic for private equity, venture, and real asset deals

  • Review sensitivity and scenario analyses for downside risk

Due Diligence Review
  • Review Quality of Earnings (QoE) reports and key findings

  • Evaluate commercial, operational, and financial diligence materials

  • Identify key risks, red flags, and data gaps

  • Validate investment memos prior to investor presentation

Investment Readiness Support
  • Provide structured feedback to sponsors and analysts

  • Confirm data integrity and analytical completeness

  • Support investment committees with objective deal assessments

Important: Deal Reviewers may only perform work in categories they are explicitly approved for. Approvals are earned through assessment and performance—not tenure.

How Deal Reviewers Start Earning
  1. Complete the Reviewer Certification Assessment or approved training

  2. Receive category-specific approvals (Model Review, Valuation Review, Diligence Review)

  3. Get verified on the Initio Sphere platform

  4. Begin earning immediately through hourly review assignments and live deal work

No cold applying. No unpaid “experience.”
Verified Deal Reviewers are actively promoted to investors and deal sponsors.

Certification & Eligibility

To qualify, you must meet at least one of the following:

  • Score ≥70% in at least one category of the Certification Assessment

  • Complete Initio Sphere Financial Training

  • Hold an active professional credential (CFA, CPA, Series 7, 63, 79, or equivalent)

Reviewer Rating Score

Each Deal Reviewer receives a 0–100 Reviewer Rating Score, which determines:

  • Platform visibility

  • Approved review categories

  • Recommended hourly rates

Scores are based on accuracy, judgment quality, responsiveness, and compliance.

Compensation & Deal Economics
  • Deal Reviewers are independent contractors, not employees

  • Hourly rates depend on Rating Score and approval level

  • Reviewers may earn up to 10% of the first $100,000 in transaction fees

  • Maximum deal-based earning: $2,500 per transaction

  • Payments issued only after successful deal completion and fee collection

  • Initio Sphere reserves the right to revoke approvals for quality or compliance issues

Compliance Notice

Deal Reviewers do not:

  • Provide investment advice

  • Solicit securities

  • Represent Initio Sphere in a regulated or fiduciary capacity

All work is strictly limited to analytical review, diligence evaluation, and financial assessment and must comply with applicable securities laws.

Why Join Initio Sphere
  • Immediate earning potential once verified

  • Exposure to real private capital transactions

  • Platform-driven credibility and deal visibility

  • Long-term upside through deal volume and network growth

  • A single ecosystem for career, capital, and opportunity
