Job description

Job Title: Assistant Professional (AP)

Department: Behavioral Health / Community Services

Reports To: Clinical Supervisor / Program Manager


Job Summary

The Assistant Professional (AP) provides supervision, guidance, and support to staff delivering behavioral health and community-based services. The AP ensures services are delivered according to treatment plans, organizational policies, and compliance standards, while supporting staff and promoting quality care for members.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide supervision and coaching to assigned staff.
  • Monitor staff performance and service delivery.
  • Ensure documentation meets organizational and regulatory standards.
  • Communicate with clinical team and leadership regarding staff or member concerns.
  • Assist with onboarding and training of new staff.
  • Support program compliance and organizational initiatives.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Human Services, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Experience in behavioral health or community-based services.
  • Knowledge of service models such as 1915(i) Waiver or Innovation Waiver (preferred).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA.
