Description
The Law Office of Pietro Canestrelli, a Tax Controversy Boutique, APC, is hiring a remote Tax Associate Attorney with 2-4 years of tax planning, tax controversy, or tax resolution experience. This role is limited to candidates residing in Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Idaho, or Texas. Compensation includes a $100,000 - $115,000 base salary, commensurate with experience, demonstrated tax capability, and geographic market considerations.
Total compensation opportunity is $115,000 - $140,000+ through performance-based bonus eligibility and origination opportunities. This is a boutique tax practice built around technical excellence, client education, compassionate advocacy, and our PEACE philosophy: Passion, Education, Advocation, Compassion, Every time.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
• 2-4 years of experience in tax planning, tax controversy, tax resolution, or a closely related tax practice area
• Experience working with the IRS and/or state taxing authorities
• Strong technical skills in tax strategy, tax compliance, tax defense, and client advocacy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage deadlines, client expectations, and case priorities
• Sound judgment, professionalism, and attention to detail
• Active license in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• Current residence in Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Idaho, or Texas
