As a remote mental health therapist, you will be working in a flexible, supportive, and collaborative setting that prioritizes employee well-being and professional development. • Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand each client’s unique social, emotional, and environmental challenges.
• Develop individualized service plans that outline clear goals, interventions, and mechanisms for monitoring progress.
• Provide one-on-one and family counseling sessions, employing therapeutic techniques tailored to clients’ specific needs.
• Engage clients in the creation of personalized service plans, linking them with available community resources for additional support.
• Offer crisis intervention services as needed, including risk assessments and safety planning to ensure client safety.
• Work collaboratively with community organizations to coordinate services and advocate for clients across multiple platforms.
• Participate in community outreach initiatives to educate the public about mental health issues and raise awareness of our agency’s services.
• Attend case conferences and team meetings to discuss client progress and strategize on best practices for care delivery.

In this role, you will work primarily with vulnerable populations facing a range of social and emotional challenges. This includes individuals experiencing psychological distress, trauma, and life transitions, as well as families dealing with systemic issues. Your expertise will contribute to building resilience and fostering improved mental health outcomes, reinforcing our commitment to community empowerment.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Strong understanding of social and economic justice issues, community resources, and trauma-informed care principles.
• Exceptional communication skills, cultural competence, and an ability to engage a diverse clientele.

• Prior experience working within a social service agency or similar environment is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities and a clear understanding of client-centered counseling practices.
• Experience in crisis intervention and risk assessment methods.
