Are you a skilled troubleshooter with a passion for electrical systems and keeping operations powered up? Join Dart’s new Center of Excellence in Leola as an Electrician and help ensure the reliability and performance of our plant and production equipment.

In this role, you'll play a critical part in maintaining the electrical integrity of our facility. From installing and wiring new equipment to diagnosing and repairing electrical issues, your expertise will directly support safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operations.

  • 7:00 pm - 7:00 am (includes $2/hr shift premium)

What you’ll do… 

  • Maintain, install, and repair equipment, electrical systems and facility electrical systems. 

  • Utilize electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, and temperature and pressure gauges 

  • Maintain and utilize maintenance systems for work orders, breakdown reporting and track machine modifications. 

  • Diagnose malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, and light fixtures. Replace damages or broken components 

  • Utilize Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) proficiently, employing basic and ladder logic to interpret and modify wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints for accurate problem diagnosis. 

What we’re looking for… 

  • Five (5) years of hands-on experience in diagnosing and repairing electrical equipment or machinery, or an equivalent combination of trade school or training. Seven (7) years experience or more could be considered for Electrician level III role.  

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; an Associate's Degree in Electronics Technology is preferred. 

  • Proficient in reading and interpreting wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints to perform detailed analytical diagnosis of electrical issues. 

  • Thorough understanding and application of the National Electrical Code (NEC), ensuring compliance with safety standards. 

  • Skilled in programming Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) using both basic and ladder logic to control industrial processes. 

  • Advanced knowledge of electrical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and instrumentation, capable of troubleshooting complex problems effectively.
