Job description

The Teacher 1 will provide education and care for each child enrolled in the program in compliance with local and state agencies such as the Florida Department of Children and Families, Department of Health and the United States Department of Agriculture Child Care Food Program.Estimated pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.94 / hour depending on experience.

Degrees:

  • High School,Cert,GED,Trn,Exper.

Licenses & Certifications:

  • Pediatric First Aid/CPR.

Additional Qualifications:

  • 45 Hour Training mandated by FL Department of Children and Families is to be completed within 12 months of hire date.
  • Completion of Birth Through Five Child Care Credential: FCCPC, DOE, CCAC, ECPC or Current National CDA (Child Development Associate) or 12 College Credits in Early Childhood Education preferred.
  • High Scope Curriculum training certificate preferred or complete training within 6 months of hire date.
  • Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, etc.

    ).
