Job description

ROLE OVERVIEW:

The Associate Project Manager at Woodmont Real Estate Services will be responsible for supporting three (3) project managers and assisting with requests for proposals, bid review and filling out bid control worksheets, assisting with property development projects, renovations, and major repairs including site visits and updates with project management staff. This role requires close collaboration with internal teams, vendors, and contractors. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented leader with strong organizational skills, able to manage bidding projects from requests for proposals to bid review, with some experience in multifamily real estate or property management industry.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Support Project Managers in the office and field
  • Set up and send requests for proposals, bid collection, and setup bid control worksheets for multiple property management projects, including renovations, repairs, and development.
  • Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are scheduled, coordinated, completed on time, and within scope.
  • Assist Project Managers with scheduling and field oversight during property management projects
  • Assist Project Managers oversee budgets, timelines, and resources for multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Provide regular updates to Project Managers as needed on project status, risks, and progress.
  • Report to Project Managers (3) on issues, delays and conflicts when they arise during project execution.
  • Assist Project Managers (3) with project documentation and records on multiple projects.
  • Travel is required throughout Woodmont’s Northern California portfolio, which includes the Greater Bay Area, North Bay, and Sacramento region.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in project management, Construction Management, Real Estate, or a related field preferred.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in project management within property management or real estate.
  • Basic understanding of construction and maintenance.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana) and property management systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite, Access, Word and Excel
  • PMP certification or similar is a plus.
  • Contractor’s License preferred

COMPENSATION

Woodmont Real Estate Services has detailed the expected hourly rate for this role to be $90,000 - $120,000 annually*.
