Associate Project Manager | Architecture


POSITION

We are seeking an ambitious Associate Project Manager with 4–6 years of professional experience to support the design and documentation of multifamily and mixed-use projects. This role serves as the project's Job Captain, leading BIM coordination and construction documentation while working closely with the Project Manager and cross-functional design team. The ideal candidate is either a newly licensed architect or actively pursuing licensure and is passionate about delivering high-quality architectural projects from concept through construction.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the Project Manager in establishing BIM standards, file management, and project documentation protocols.
  • Coordinate BIM models and construction documents with architects, consultants, and third-party design professionals.
  • Produce and update Revit models and drawing packages from design markups.
  • Maintain organized project records, digital files, consultant backgrounds, and project documentation.
  • Create drawing and model content throughout all phases of design and construction.
  • Coordinate interdisciplinary design efforts to ensure complete, accurate, and coordinated construction documents.
  • Participate in quality reviews and incorporate review comments into project documentation.
  • Assist with meeting minutes, action items, and project coordination.
  • Support construction administration activities, including shop drawing reviews and supplemental sketches.
  • Collaborate with internal teams throughout the design, documentation, and construction process.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field preferred.
  • 4–6 years of experience on multifamily, mixed-use, hospitality, or commercial projects.
  • Previous experience as a Job Captain or similar project documentation leadership role preferred.
  • Experience with wood-frame construction, including Type III and Type V buildings, is a plus.
  • Strong working knowledge of BIM workflows and construction documentation.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD required.
  • Experience with Bluebeam and Microsoft Excel required.
  • Experience with SketchUp, Adobe InDesign, Twinmotion, or Lumion is a plus.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated team player with a strong work ethic and passion for architecture.
  • Licensed Architect or actively pursuing architectural licensure preferred.
