We at Yunex Traffic help make public agencies more intuitive by providing a path to a digital transportation ecosystem, connected, and integrated and deliver solutions in the areas of Central and Adaptive Control, Advanced Traffic Management System (ATMS), Connected Vehicle solutions (V2I) and Mobility-as-a-Service.
This position works independently and as part of a team to provide optimum levels of service to Yunex Traffic customers.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Coordination & Administration
  • Support the Operations Manager in planning, executing, and closing construction projects in alignment with scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Coordinate daily project activities with field staff, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.
  • Maintain organized project documentation including contracts, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and meeting minutes.
  • Assist with preparation of progress reports, executive summaries, and stakeholder communications.
  • Track subcontractor performance, deliverables, and adherence to schedule.
  • Coordinate subcontract agreements and ensure compliance with contract terms.
  • Support projects in compliance with customer standards, specifications, and procedures.
  • Assist with preparation and submission of Customer required documentation, including submittals, inspection records, and reports.
  • Organize and participate in project meetings (internal, client, subcontractor, and progress meetings).
  • Support audits and project closeout documentation.
  • Support mitigation planning and implementation.

Scheduling & Planning (Microsoft Project Focus)
  • Develop, update, and maintain detailed project schedules using Microsoft Project.
  • Create Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), define task dependencies, durations, constraints, and resource allocations.
  • Perform critical path analysis and proactively identify schedule risks or delays.
  • Track progress against baseline schedules and generate variance reports.
  • Collaborate with field teams to validate schedule updates and ensure accurate forecasting.
  • Integrate subcontractor schedules into the master schedule and ensure alignment.
  • Identify potential project risks related to schedule, cost, or scope.

Cost Control & Budget Monitoring
  • Assist in tracking project costs, commitments, and forecasts.
  • Support the preparation and review of pay estimates and change orders.
  • Monitor budget performance and flag cost overruns or savings opportunities.
  • Maintain cost logs and ensure accuracy of financial documentation.
  • Assist in resolving project issues through coordination with the project team.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Minimum three years of experience managing projects in a construction enviroment
  • Minimum five years of years experience in constuction ideally in traffic or highway construction.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Project (required).
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Working knowledge of construction processes, documents, and terminology.
  • Familiarity with TXDOT specifications and procedures (preferred).
  • Ability to analyze schedules, identify critical path impacts, and adjust plans accordingly.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving approach.
