Job description

Audubon is currently seeking a Project Manager, Senior to join our team in our Metairie, LA Office. The Project Manager, Senior will be accountable for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of complex and/or large projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Acts as the primary interface between the project team and the client representative. The PM is the face of Audubon to the client.
  • Creates, executes and revises project execution plans as required to meet client requirements and project metrics.
  • Identifies resources needed and manages team responsibilities.
  • Manages day-to-day operational aspects of assigned projects.
  • Ensures that all deliverables have been reviewed, approved and signed off prior to issue to the client.
  • Ensures the project team follows the Audubon standards and procedures.
  • Responsible for reviewing project transactions and reporting any discrepancies on a weekly basis.
  • Responsible for review and approval of invoices within a 48hr turnaround.
  • Responsible for maintaining the resource planning on assigned projects.
  • Manages the project budget and schedule.
  • Remains completely accessible to client during the life of project and provides single point of contact, ensuring specific requests are process timely and appropriately.
  • Organizes and directs a Project Management Team of other Project Managers and/or Project Engineers.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Education Required: Minimum of an Associate's Degree AND 10 years of Relative Experience, or Bachelor's Degree and 7 years of Relative Experience.
  • Education/Licensure Preferred: BS Engineering, MBA, Project Management Professional (PMP),
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License.
  • Experience Required: Minimum of 7 years of industry related experience as a Project Engineer or Project Manager.
  • Experience Preferred: 10 years of experience as the Lead Engineer on large multi-discipline projects, Project Engineer and/or Project Manager.
  • Working knowledge of scheduling techniques and software.
  • Knowledgeable in cost estimating and control.
  • Able to speak comfortably in a group setting.
