*Job Overview*
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead and oversee complex fabrication projects from inception to completion. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive program development, implement process improvements, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality fabrication solutions. The ideal candidate will excel in cross-functional collaboration, utilize advanced project management methodologies, and demonstrate strong leadership skills to motivate teams and manage stakeholder expectations effectively. *Duties*
* Lead the planning, execution, and closing of fabrication projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and client specifications.
* Develop comprehensive project schedules using tools like Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or Smartsheet, incorporating scope management, risk mitigation, and cost control strategies.
* Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to define project scope, deliverables, and success criteria.
* Apply Lean Six Sigma principles and Kaizen methodologies to identify process inefficiencies and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
* Manage project budgets by monitoring expenditures, conducting variance analysis with earned value management techniques, and negotiating vendor contracts.
* Oversee technical project & program management activities including root cause analysis, process mapping, and quality management to ensure optimal project outcomes.
* Coordinate cross-functional teams through effective meeting facilitation, conflict management, and communication of project stakeholder updates via platforms like SharePoint or Confluence.
*Requirements*
* Proven experience supervising fabrication or manufacturing projects with a strong background in technical project & program management supervisory roles.
* Demonstrated expertise in program development, scope management, risk management, and project scheduling using tools like Jira, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or VersionOne.
* Strong leadership skills with a history of team management, team leadership, and fostering cross-functional collaboration in fast-paced environments.
* Proficiency in data analysis skills including Excel data analysis and data collection techniques to inform decision-making processes.
* Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining focus on quality standards and deadlines.
* Knowledge of IT infrastructure projects and vendor management practices is preferred.
* Effective communication skills for requirements analysis, requirements management, presentation delivery, and stakeholder engagement.
* Certifications such as Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt), PMP (Project Management Professional), or equivalent are highly desirable.
