Job description

Pegasus Senior Living is seeking an experienced and compassionate Health & Wellness Coordinator to support our Health & Wellness Team in delivering exceptional resident care and ensuring high standards of service. This role plays a key part in resident assessments, care planning, staff development, and maintaining regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assure implementation of policies and procedures related to resident care
  • Supervise and assist in the provision of resident services, including coordination with ancillary healthcare providers
  • Conduct assessments, negotiate service plans, and update service schedules based on resident needs
  • Ensure timely resident assessments and accurate billing according to those assessments
  • Participate in social history assessments and help develop life enrichment programming
  • Support resident self-governance through council and committee meetings
  • Act as a resident advocate and maintain communication with designated agents
  • Investigate resident complaints, report findings, and ensure appropriate follow-up
  • Assist with recruitment, interviewing, hiring, supervision, and training of community associates
  • Ensure compliance with state regulations, OSHA, and all resident-care standards
  • Maintain a professional, positive, and customer-focused presence within the community
Qualifications
  • Valid LPN or RN license in the state of employment
  • Minimum of three years of nursing experience, including management experience
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Genuine interest in senior care and issues impacting older adults
  • Ability to manage stress, work under time constraints, and meet deadlines
  • Strong organizational and project-management skills
  • Excellent customer service and public-relations abilities
  • Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs independently and up to 190 lbs with assistance; ability to push up to 350 lbs (wheelchair)

The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $110,000.
