Job description

*Securian Financial Group's internal position title for this role isDigital Analytics Sr Analyst.

Position Summary:

At Securian Financial, you willleveragedata to drive business outcomes that align with Securian's EnterpriseAnalyticsStrategy,Visionand Operating Principles.You'llwork closely with Digital and Marketing stakeholders totranslate business questions into analytical approaches, uncover insights, and influence decisions that improve digital experiences and marketing performance.Using tools like Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, Rand Tableau, you will partner with website product owners, marketingassociatesand business partners to delivertimely, relevant insights.You'lluse data to inform decisions and priorities across our business.You'llhelp 'connect the dots' for our stakeholders, helping them use insights to drive website optimization and marketing strategy. You will work with website teams to design and deliver A/B testing and personalization.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Translate business questions into structured analytical approaches and hypotheses.
  • Develop actionable insights that drive business outcomes using structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
  • Communicate results to business stakeholders with a focus on connecting insights to KPIsandinforming decisions.
  • Perform exploratory analysis and visualization of large data sets toidentifyopportunities for optimization.
  • Proactivelyidentifytrends, anomalies, and opportunities by exploring data beyond defined requests.
  • Apply statistical methods to evaluate performance, measure impact, and assess confidence in results.
  • Consult with marketing associates to informcampaign strategy, analyzeresultsand deliveroptimizationrecommendations.
  • Design and implement measurement and testing strategies for a variety of stakeholders.
  • Partner with website agile teams to deploy A/B and multivariate testing across web platforms.
  • Analyze audience segments to deliver personalized experiences to drive conversion.


Qualifications:

  • 2+ years analytics experience,preferablyinvolving digital experiences
  • Proven experience working with industry technologies including Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, RStudio/RShinyor equivalent technologies
  • Experience with statistical analysis (e.g., regression, hypothesis testing)
  • Understanding ofAdobe Launch or similar tag management technologies. Experience with data collection schemas, translating business requirements into tagging specs and QA testing of tag changes.
  • Ability to clearly articulate and explain complex analytical results and methodsintoclear, actionable business insights forstakeholders of varying technical background and understanding.
  • Demonstratedcuriosity and ability to explore data independently to uncover insights.
  • Strong ethical mindset with a focus on responsible data use, unbiased analysis, and customer-centric decision making.
