Job description

Description
The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences at Yale School of Medicine seeks an outstanding candidate for a full-time MIGS Fellowship Director and appointment at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Full Professor focusing on minimally invasive gynecologic surgery (MIGS). Consultative gynecologic hospital care and gynecology call coverage is shared among members of the division; no inpatient obstetric coverage is expected. The current clinical coverage areas are Bridgeport and New Haven, CT.
Qualifications
The candidate must have demonstrated excellence in the delivery of patient-centered, equitable, comprehensive clinical care and possessed excellent complex surgery skills in particular minimally invasive gynecology surgery (MIGS). As a MIGS Fellowship Director, the candidate should have a demonstrated interest in mentoring clinical research. The applicant is required to be Board certified/eligible in general obstetrics and gynecology and have completed an AAGL-accredited complex benign gynecology fellowship (formally FMIGS). A highly qualified academic candidate may also be eligible to serve as director of the MIGS division.
