Responsibilities:

Schedule operator assignments each day in accordance with shipping schedules.

Ensure that operators are trained and have all the raw materials, tools, and equipment necessary to produce quality parts.

Examine parts produced to determine if items meet specifications.

Interpret company policies to workers and enforce safety regulations.

Interpret customer specifications to ensure product produced meets those specifications.

Responsible for conforming to customer product requirements and has the authority to stop shipment and production to correct quality problems.

Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.

Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment for safety and the general well-being of the employees.

Complete or verify paperwork and/or data related to the performance of production employees, employee time worked, scrap, quality, or other assigned reports.

Analyze and resolve work problems or assist workers in solving work problems.

Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. May include appraising and rewarding performances, addressing poor performance or complaints, and resolving concerns.

Must communicate to management, formally or informally, concerns related to production and the associated employees.

Ensure the work environment is clean, safe, and organized.

Qualifications:

High School diploma or General Education Degree. Associates Degree or higher preferred.

A minimum of one year of manufacturing or leadership experience.
