Job description

Atlas Roofing Web Technologies Division is seeking a Production Supervisor for Meridian, MS.
Production Supervisor Responsibilities
  • Supervise all aspects of coating line production during assigned shift.
  • Ensure employees follow all safety protocols and manufacturing procedures.
  • Monitor and maintain production schedules to meet customer demand and operational goals.
  • Coach, train, and develop production operators; conduct performance evaluations and assist with staffing decisions.
  • Troubleshoot equipment or process issues and coordinate repairs with maintenance as needed.
  • Monitor quality standards and work with the Quality Team to address non-conformities or process deviations.
  • Track KPIs and operational data; recommend and implement process improvements to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including production logs, incident reports, and downtime tracking. Promote a clean, organized, and safe work environment in alignment with 5S and Lean principles.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or Industrial Technology preferred.
  • 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in coating, extrusion, or roll-to-roll production preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of coating processes, material handling systems, and industrial safety practices.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP/MES systems is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights or weekends as needed.

Production Supervisor Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Computer skills utilizing Excel, Word, PeopleSoft, ADP, MaintScape.
  • Requires excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Prior experience in a Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma environment preferred.

Production Supervisor Education, Licenses & Certifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Some college preferred but not required.
