About the Role:

EZG Manufacturing is seeking a skilled and driven Production Engineer to support and improve our manufacturing processes. In this role, youโ€™ll develop and maintain technical documentation, optimize production workflows, and collaborate across departments to ensure high-quality fabrication and assembly of our equipment.

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for continuous improvement in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

What you'll do:

  • Analyze original equipment and customer drawings for the creation of shop production documentation.
  • Document production flow for original equipment and analyze ways to improve and implement changes through continuous improvement.
  • Develop time studies, value stream maps and other continuous improvement projects for original equipment production.
  • Provide support during the building and fabrication process, ensuring that the machines are built properly and according to specifications.
  • Consult with managers, supervisors, operators, welders, assemblers to discuss changes to projects and design discrepancies.
  • Consult with suppliers and customers as needed for implementing new and improve existing production processes and equipment.
  • Complete engineer change requests based on feedback from customers or the production department.

What We're Looking For:

  • Associateโ€™s or Bachelorโ€™s degree in Engineering, Drafting, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or engineering.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Experience with process improvement and project estimation.
  • Solid mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Technical Skills
  • AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • ERP systems (Syteline preferred)
