Job description

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop processes and work instructions for build-to-print parts.
  • Lead new product introduction (NPI) activities and support production ramp-up.
  • Support machined component and complex assembly development.
  • Create and maintain bills of materials (BOMs), facility layouts, and assembly line layouts.
  • Drive Lean/Kaizen initiatives to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and optimize flow.
  • Act as a hands-on resource with broad capability across fabrication, welding, and machining.

Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Engineering (preferred) or Associateโ€™s in Engineering Technology with equivalent experience.
  • 7โ€“12 years of manufacturing engineering experience in aerospace/defense.
  • Experience with machining, welding, and metal fabrication processes.
  • Strong skills in process development, BOMs, and work instructions.
  • Lean/Kaizen mindset and proven success driving continuous improvement.
  • Must be a U.S. person under ITAR (U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder).
