Production Associate
Pay: $18.50 - $23.00 per hour (based on experience)
Available Shifts:
- 1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday, 2:30 PM - 1:00 AM
Position Overview
We are seeking detail-oriented and motivated Production Associates to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling electronic and electromechanical products using a variety of assembly techniques and production equipment. The ideal candidate has experience in manufacturing, electronic assembly, or soldering and takes pride in producing high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform hand soldering of wires, electrical connectors, and printed circuit boards (PCBs) in accordance with company quality standards and work instructions.
- Build and assemble electronic and electromechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies, including cable assemblies, ribbon cables, and related components.
- Operate production machinery and assembly equipment safely and efficiently.
- Read and interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, drawings, and work orders to complete assemblies accurately.
- Complete production documentation and maintain accurate records throughout the manufacturing process.
- Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with quality and workmanship standards.
- Follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors, leads, and team members.
- Participate in cross-training opportunities and assist in multiple production areas as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-conscious work environment.
QualificationsPreferred
- Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to use basic hand tools and production equipment.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Previous manufacturing, production, or assembly experience.
- Experience with hand soldering, including soldering wires to connectors and PCBs.
- Electronic assembly experience, including SMT and through-hole soldering.
- Experience assembling cable harnesses, ribbon cables, and electromechanical components.
- Familiarity with quality standards and production documentation.
