Job description

Role Overview
The JP Private Bank Digital Team is seeking a Senior Associate Product Manager to help manage, track, and grow the Private Bank's leads and prospect pipeline. This role will partner closely with advisors, banking teams, sales leadership, marketing, analytics, design, technology, data science, and AI teams to improve how prospects are captured, prioritized, nurtured, converted, and measured across digital and advisor-led channels.
The ideal candidate has prior experience as a Private Bank advisor, banker, or client-facing banking team member and understands how advisors build relationships, qualify opportunities, and move prospects through the pipeline. This person will bring frontline knowledge into the product development process to create practical, intuitive, and high-impact digital tools for advisors and leadership. They should also have a strong interest in how AI can improve advisor productivity, prospect prioritization, personalized outreach, pipeline insights, and next-best-action recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
Product Ownership & Execution
  • Support the product strategy and roadmap for Private Bank lead and prospect management capabilities.
  • Translate advisor, banker, and leadership needs into clear product requirements, user stories, workflows, and success criteria.
  • Partner with design, technology, analytics, data science, and AI teams to deliver digital tools that improve prospect visibility, workflow efficiency, and conversion outcomes.
  • Manage product backlog prioritization in partnership with senior product leads and business stakeholders.
  • Drive execution across discovery, requirements, testing, launch, adoption, and ongoing optimization.

Leads & Prospect Management
  • Help define and improve the end-to-end prospect journey, from initial lead capture through qualification, assignment, follow-up, conversion, and reporting.
  • Identify opportunities to improve how advisors manage prospect pipelines, prioritize outreach, and track next-best actions.
  • Partner with analytics teams to build dashboards and reporting that provide visibility into lead sources, pipeline health, advisor engagement, and conversion performance.
  • Support initiatives that increase prospect growth, improve lead quality, and reduce operational friction for banking teams.

AI-Driven Advisor Enablement
  • Interest or experience using AI to support product delivery and insights
  • Explore opportunities to use AI to help advisors better identify, prioritize, and engage with high-potential prospects.
  • Partner with data science, analytics, and technology teams to evaluate AI-enabled capabilities such as lead scoring, next-best-action recommendations, automated insights, outreach support, pipeline summaries, and prospect research assistance.
  • Help define responsible, advisor-centered AI use cases that improve productivity while supporting appropriate controls, transparency, and user trust.
  • Gather advisor feedback on AI-powered tools to ensure recommendations are practical, explainable, and aligned to real-world workflows.
  • Monitor adoption and effectiveness of AI-enabled features and recommend enhancements based on data and user feedback.

Advisor & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Serve as a voice of the advisor within the Digital Team, bringing practical insight from the field into product decisions.
  • Conduct user interviews, feedback sessions, journey mapping, and workflow reviews with advisors, bankers, managers, and support teams.
  • Build strong relationships with Private Bank stakeholders to understand business priorities and ensure digital solutions align with advisor needs.
  • Support training, communications, and adoption efforts for new or enhanced lead, prospect, and AI-enabled tools.

Data, Measurement & Optimization
  • Define KPIs for lead management and prospect growth, including lead volume, lead quality, assignment timeliness, follow-up activity, conversion rates, advisor adoption, and AI feature engagement.
  • Partner with analytics and reporting teams to monitor product performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Use data and user feedback to recommend enhancements, prioritize features, and improve business outcomes.
  • Help create consistent measurement frameworks for prospect pipeline management across teams and regions.

Required Qualifications
  • 3-5+ years of experience in product management, financial services, wealth management, banking, sales enablement, CRM, digital transformation, or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of the advisor or banker workflow, especially around prospecting, relationship development, pipeline management, and client acquisition.
  • Demonstrated interest in AI, data-driven decisioning, automation, or digital productivity tools.
  • Ability to translate business needs into clear product requirements and partner effectively with design, technology, analytics, data science, and business teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with comfort using data to assess performance, identify trends, and make product recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with CRM platforms, sales tools, prospect management systems, advisor desktop capabilities, or AI-enabled business tools.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience as a Private Bank advisor, banker, portfolio associate, client advisor, or member of a banking team.
  • Experience supporting high-net-worth or ultra-high-net-worth client segments.
  • Familiarity with lead assignment models, prospect qualification, sales funnels, pipeline reporting, and advisor productivity tools.
  • Experience working in Agile product development environments.
  • Interest in emerging AI capabilities and how they can be responsibly applied to improve advisor workflows, sales effectiveness, and client acquisition.
  • Understanding of digital adoption, change management, and field enablement within a large financial institution.

Success Measures
This person will be successful if they help the organization:
  • Improve visibility into Private Bank leads and prospects.
  • Increase advisor adoption of lead and prospect tools.
  • Improve speed and consistency of lead follow-up.
  • Strengthen pipeline tracking and reporting for advisors and managers.
  • Increase conversion of qualified prospects into client relationships.
  • Reduce manual effort and fragmented processes across banking teams.
  • Identify practical AI use cases that improve advisor productivity and prospect engagement.
  • Bring authentic advisor perspective into product design and prioritization.

Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a product-minded former advisor or banking team member who understands the realities of prospecting and relationship management. They are comfortable working with senior stakeholders, skilled at turning frontline pain points into digital product solutions, and curious about how AI, data, and automation can help advisors work more efficiently and grow their business.
