Introduction
Join our Product Management team and help support the development of innovative technology solutions across Security, Data & AI, Application Modernization, and Advanced Computing. In this role, you will work alongside experienced product managers and cross-functional teams to understand customer needs, analyze market trends, and contribute to products that deliver business value and customer impact.
As an early-career product professional, you will gain exposure to the full product lifecycle, supporting activities that span product discovery, planning, development, and launch. This role provides an opportunity to develop core product management skills while working closely with engineering, design, and business teams in a collaborative environment.
Your role and responsibilities
As a Product Manager, you will:
  • Support product managers in the planning, development, and delivery of product capabilities and enhancements.
  • Assist with customer, market, and competitive research to identify trends, opportunities, and user needs.
  • Help translate customer and business requirements into product requirements, user stories, and supporting documentation.
  • Analyze product usage data, customer feedback, and business metrics to generate insights and recommendations.
  • Participate in backlog grooming, release planning, and Agile development activities.
  • Product Execution: Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into deliverable outcomes, helping coordinate activities from development through launch.
  • Assist in preparing presentations, product updates, and communications for stakeholders.
  • Explore how AI-powered technologies can enhance products, user experiences, and business outcomes.
  • Use AI tools such as IBM Bob, Copilot, or similar technologies to support research, analysis, content creation, and productivity.
  • Continuously learn about emerging technologies, industry trends, and product management best practices.

Required education

Required technical and professional expertise
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Computer Science, Design, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate ideas and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to evaluate information, identify insights, and support decision-making.

  • Experience using approved AI tools to support research, analysis, content creation, problem-solving, or productivity in academic, professional, or personal projects.

  • Basic understanding of product strategy, market dynamics, and competitive analysis.
