Job Description

The Pre-stager is responsible for all scanning activities and product movement form the lines to the Shipping Bays.  This position is also responsible for providing complete and accurate bar code scans to maintain integrity of accuracy and participating in efforts to meet and continually improve the department's quality, productivity, and safety.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintains safe, organized, and neat warehouse
  • Maintains Scan accuracy
  • Assists in year-end finished goods inventory process
  • Interacts with other departments to assure proper coordination of activities
  • Understands all procedures and processes for department
  • Assures employees adhere to all safety rules and policies.
  • Complete all necessary documentation neatly and accurately
  • Communicates and supports company goals and objectives
  • Performs all duties assigned by department Supervisor
Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Proven time management skills with the ability to respond to time-critical issues, and work overtime as needed to meet deadlines
  • Excellent work ethic - ability to work self-directed and as a flexible team player
  • Ability to adapt to change in a dynamic and fast paced environment
  • Comfortably using a PC with computer software packages, including Microsoft Office
  • Able to deal effectively with various personality types and cultures
