Job description

SRM Product Store in Columbia is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Product Store Team Member (Building Materials & Home Improvement) to support daily store operations and drive sales growth. This role is perfect for someone with experience in construction, home improvement, or building materials who enjoys working directly with customers, building relationships with contractors, and contributing to a high-performing team.

As a key member of our store team, you will help deliver exceptional customer service, promote products such as block, ready-mix, and other construction materials, and support overall store success. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are sales-driven, team-oriented, and eager to grow within a stable and expanding company.


Your mission is to provide outstanding customer service, drive product sales, and support efficient store operations in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers in-store with product selection, recommendations, and purchases related to building materials and home improvement
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked product store environment
  • Build relationships by communicating with contractors and internal teams to promote products and increase sales
  • Proactively reach out to contractors to generate new business and maintain ongoing partnerships
  • Provide knowledgeable guidance on block, ready-mix, and other construction materials
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems
  • Monitor inventory levels, assist with restocking, and support inventory management processes
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve store sales goals and performance targets
  • Deliver an excellent customer experience by providing timely, professional, and friendly service
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards

Qualifications:

  • Experience in home improvement, construction, or building materials preferred (block or ready-mix experience is a strong plus)
