Product Line Manager - Slurry Pumps

Introduction

At FLS, the Product Line Manager - Slurry Pumps supports the Global Product Line Manager (GPLM) in executing the strategy and performance of the slurry pumps portfolio across its full lifecycle. This role focuses on driving product line initiatives, supporting commercial execution, and coordinating closely with regional and global stakeholders to deliver competitive, standardized, and profitable solutions.

Your responsibilities

Product Management & Lifecycle Support

  • Support the GPLM in managing the complete product lifecycle, including aftermarket offerings
  • Contribute to product order intake, profitability, and margin improvement initiatives
  • Assist in aligning capital sales strategies with regional teams and RPLMs
  • Support prioritization of product developments, upgrades, and portfolio rationalization
  • Drive support functions alignment based on business volume and growth priorities
  • Contribute to lifecycle management planning, catalog development, and digital/sustainability initiatives
  • Support inventory strategy, global stocking plans, and sourcing alignment with SIOP and regional teams

Sales Support & Proposal Development

  • Able to develop and deliver multi-day technical slurry pump training programs for customers and internal stakeholders
  • Provide technical and commercial support for proposals, bids, and customer opportunities
  • Collaborate with Inside Sales, Applications Engineers, and Sales Engineers to develop winning proposals
  • Support bid pricing, discount guidelines, and performance guarantees
  • Assist in developing sales support materials, training content, and regional enablement tools
  • Help define and standardize sales processes, tools, and selection methodologies

Market & Commercial Execution

  • Support go-to-market strategies and product marketing initiatives
  • Assist in development of value propositions and standardization strategies
  • Support global product launches and commercialization initiatives

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Work closely with Engineering, R&D, Procurement, and Operations to support product competitiveness
  • Assist in prioritization of R&D initiatives aligned with product strategy
  • Contribute to standardization and cost optimization across product offerings
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities to support execution of global product strategies
  • Provide direct and/or indirect leadership and coordination of Application Engineers across regions

What you bring

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience with slurry pumps or related mineral processing equipment
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in sales or commercial roles within mining or industrial sectors
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Strong understanding of slurry pump applications and mining processes
  • Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, sales, and operations teams
  • Ability to support product strategy execution and commercial initiatives
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to travel globally as required
  • Role to be based out of nearest FLS office
