Job description

The Home Lending Product Transformation team is responsible for advancing Consumer and Community Banking (CCB) product operating models and mobilizing product teams to deliver initiatives at scale that align with CCB Strategic Objectives. As a Senior Associate, Product Management for Home Lending Transformation, you are accountable for identifying the right business outcomes and delivering solutions that realize them, accelerating ideatoimpact and elevating quality and speed. You'll partner deeply with engineering, design, and business stakeholders, remove blockers proactively, and lead a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement to deliver bestinclass products-leveraging AI responsibly to accelerate discovery, decisioning, and delivery where it creates real value.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify opportunities within a product area in partnership with a product leader to improve the loan origination process aligned to clear, measurable goals, translate opportunities into user stories and a prioritized product backlog, and drive the work forward with a cross-functional team to reduce time to originate loans and deliver a world-class customer experience.
  • Create and maintain high quality documentation and requirements including business and process flow diagrams, Confluence pages, user stories, epics and SSD (spec-driven development) spec documents
  • Support delivery velocity and quality; proactively remove blockers, align stakeholders for fast decision-making, and ensure solutions are thoroughly tested to enable high-quality production releases. Use lightweight decision frameworks and fast feedback loops to maintain momentum.
  • Drive innovation and be involved as a change agent within your product area: champion new ideas, challenge legacy processes, and lead cross-functional initiatives that transform Home Lending. Identify and deliver opportunities to create organizational value by leveraging technology, data, and customer insights to reimagine products, accelerate outcomes, and foster continuous improvement
  • Participate in discovery and usability testing; help design and run rapid experiments (Minimum Viable Products/AB tests) to validate assumptions and iterate based on quantified learning, including judicious use of AIdriven insights and prototyping where appropriate and compliant. Employ rapid prototyping to quickly validate whether ideas may deliver the desired outcomes before investing in a full engineering build.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives) that drive focus, accountability, and a culture of growth and continuous improvement across the team.
  • Leverage instrumentation to evaluate the success of features, make data backed decisions and share impact to business outcomes on a regular basis. Leverage AI/ML where it enhances signal detection, forecasting, or prioritization, using firm-approved tools and guidelines.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and upcoming priorities with candor and clarity; escalate decisively to clear constraints and keep delivery on pace.
  • Leverage AI responsibly to accelerate product delivery: use firm-approved AI/ML and analytics to speed discovery, inform prioritization and forecasting, streamline requirements and testing, and enhance customer experiences-while adhering to governance and applying human judgment to maintain quality and pace.
  • Demonstrate within 6-12 months that owned initiatives meaningfully contribute to reduce lead time from idea to production by 30%, increase adoption and completion rates by 25-50%, and deliver high-impact experiments with measurable results

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • 3+ years of experience in a Product organization, Business Analyst (product-focused), or closely related role, contributing to end-to-end delivery of customer and business outcomes on complex products
  • 3+ years of handson experience using Atlassian suite (JIRA, JIRA Align, Confluence) to document requirements and plan work. Familiarity with the SDLC and agile delivery (Scrum/Kanban) with demonstrated contributions to improving throughput and quality
  • Working knowledge of product analytics capability; uses data to set targets, instrument features, and manage to outcomes; familiarity with AI/ML concepts and firmapproved tools to responsibly enhance discovery, prioritization, and customer experiences
  • 3+ years of handson with JIRA/JIRA Align for flow management and expertise leading agile delivery (Scrum/Kanban) with measurable improvements to throughput and quality
  • Applied UX and solution design experience; proficiency with Figma and processmapping tools to rapidly frame problems and prototype solutions with engineering/design partners 
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to align engineering, design, and business partners; communicates priorities and progress crisply to maintain pace and technical acumen to engage on tradeoffs and architecture for scalable, resilient solutions 
  • Market and competitive analysis experience to identify differentiation opportunities and inform the roadmap with evidencebased insights 
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent practical experience
