Position Overview
Preci Manufacturing is seeking a Manufacturing Process Planner / Layout Engineer to support our engineering and production teams. This position is responsible for creating process plans, drafting operation layouts, supporting tooling and fixturing documentation, and helping translate customer engineering requirements into clear instructions for the shop floor.
This is a great role for someone who enjoys CAD, technical drawings, problem solving, and hands-on manufacturing. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and interested in learning how precision components are planned, documented, and manufactured.

Key Responsibilities
• Create and update manufacturing process plans for precision machined components
• Draft operation process drawings and layout documentation for production use
• Assist with tooling, fixturing, and workholding drawings as needed
• Read and interpret customer engineering drawings, specifications, and contract requirements
• Help translate technical requirements into clear shop-floor instructions
• Work with engineering, quality, and production teams to support accurate and efficient manufacturing processes

• Learn and follow military, aerospace, ISO 9001, and AS9100-related documentation requirements
