$51,720-$67,120Position OverviewAs an Associate Merchandising Analyst, you will negotiate and close down gross profit opportunities, as well as negotiate and execute promotional merchandising programs for our independent retailers. You will work closely with our vendor and broker community.Job Description

Description

  • Negotiate and execute promotional merchandising programs with vendors and manufacturers (weekly ads/bi-annual food shows, Marketing events.
  • Negotiate opportunities with Vendors and Manufacturers maximizing profitable inventories by creating logistical and administrative efficiencies.
  • Learn the functions of various systems & reports for daily usage
  • Manage reconciliation of vendor rebate programs to ensure accuracy and timeliness of payments from the vendor community.
  • Setup and maintain item and vendor data integrity, including pricing, item accuracy, item changes, item assortment, category marketing info, and lost income resolution.
  • Work on special projects with Senior Analysts and Mangers, such as representing division on specific weekly conference calls, food show coordination, retail merchandising, and other projects.
  • Work cross functionally with the Procurement team on excess inventory resolution.
  • Interface with other C&S departments, vendors, and retail customers for resolutions regarding invoicing, or deduction management.
  • Travel Required: No
