Job description

Embark on a New Adventure in Salt Lake City, Where Mountains Meet Innovation
Picture thriving in a city that harmonizes breathtaking mountain scenery with a dynamic, forward-thinking medical community. Welcome to Salt Lake City, a vibrant location that thrives on collaboration and creativity. Beyond the majestic peaks and cultural landmarks lies an incredible opportunity for an Imaging Technologist who dreams of a role where precision and empathy shape the patient experience.
In this exciting role, you'll operate at the heart of medical imaging, playing an essential role in the patient care continuum. Your technical skills will be utilized not only to produce high-quality, diagnostic images but also to foster supportive and reassuring interactions with patients during their most vulnerable hours. Whether handling a crucial CT scan or providing comfort to those in need, your contributions will be deeply valued in this community-focused healthcare environment.
Your Core Responsibilities
  • Utilize advanced radiographic and CT techniques to deliver high-resolution diagnostic images for physicians
  • Engage with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams to achieve accurate diagnostic outcomes
  • Position patients expertly and calibrate sophisticated imaging equipment
  • Uphold strict radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff
  • Manage comprehensive records, including imaging logs and equipment upkeep
  • Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care throughout each imaging procedure
  • Contribute to a well-organized, efficient, and safe imaging environment
Education and Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is required; a Bachelor's Degree is advantageous
  • Completion of an accredited radiology program is necessary
Mandatory Certifications
  • ARRT certification (CT and/or Radiography) is essential
  • Current BLS certification or the capability to acquire it within 90 days of employment
What Skills Will Shine Here
  • Thorough understanding of diagnostic imaging methodologies and safety regulations
  • Exceptional communication abilities for effective interactions with patients and colleagues
  • Adeptness in high-pressure environments and flexibility to adapt as priorities shift
  • Keen attention to detail and a strong sense of accountability
  • Technological proficiency with PACS, RIS, and contemporary imaging software
Your Perks Await
  • Robust benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision options
  • Generous paid time off and numerous scheduling possibilities
  • Opportunities for on-site professional development and training
  • Paths for career progression within imaging as well as cross-training in fields
  • A supportive, values-oriented culture that champions teamwork and personal growth
  • Full-time on-site role in a collaborative clinical atmosphere

From Image to Impact: The Importance of Your Role
Your work transcends simply capturing an image; it's about seeing the individual behind the scan. Whether comforting a young patient needing a CT after a sports mishap or guiding an older adult through a routine screening process, your presence can transform a challenging experience into one marked by compassion and professionalism.
Collaboration is at the heart of our imaging team. You will join a committed group of experts who recognize the value of each team member's input. Here, teamwork thrives through shared dedication and a common goal: to provide the best care for our patients. You have the independence to deliver your expertise while being part of a supportive network aimed at improving lives.
Discover Salt Lake City: Your New Playground
Living in Salt Lake City affords you the chance to embrace a lifestyle that marries the beauty of nature with the buzz of urban life. Picture starting your day with a fresh brew from a local café and spending your afternoons hiking the stunning trails of the Wasatch Mountains or visiting art exhibits that reflect the city's rich culture. From the breathtaking landscape to the thriving arts scene, there's plenty to inspire your downtime.
This is also a community that knows the importance of connectivity. Quaint neighborhoods thrive alongside vibrant downtown hubs. Imagine enjoying farmers' markets that bring fresh produce straight from local farms, exploring parks filled with friendly faces, and catching outdoor concerts beneath the stars. In Salt Lake City, you'll find a balanced lifestyle enhanced by a low cost of living and no state income tax, allowing you to savor all the experiences life has to offer.
The healthcare arena here is continually evolving, full of growth and innovation. Whether you're starting your professional journey or seeking new challenges, the opportunities for career development are vast.
Your Future Teammates
You will join a trusted, cohesive imaging department that thrives on shared values and collaborative spirit. Together, you will work with experienced professionals and budding talents dedicated to excellence-not just in the technical sense but in the way we connect with patients. Here, you'll participate in an environment that encourages feedback, values contributions, and celebrates each success, regardless of size.
This position falls under a leadership structure that advocates transparency and continuous improvement. Your suggestions will be welcomed, and your role in mentoring those newer to the field will be esteemed.
The Ideal Candidate
If a meticulous eye combined with empathy resonates with your professional philosophy, you will be right at home here. You understand that patient imaging extends beyond the scan, focusing equally on the patient experience. You remain composed in stressful moments, adeptly managing changes in environment or schedule. You're eager to contribute to a cause greater than yourself.
Simply bring along your certification and expertise; we'll provide you with opportunities, a supportive community, and a workspace that welcomes your best efforts.
Join Us in Shaping Healthcare Together
If you are prepared to take on a role that allows you to leave a lasting impact, where your contributions are valued, and each day presents new possibilities-let's connect. Join us in one of the most exhilarating cities around as we create meaningful connections and transformative experiences, one scan at a time.
Apply now and help us redefine the future of imaging, enriching every patient story along the way.
