Job description

One-year limited-termAcademic Associate position to teach in the Legal Studies programs startingAugust 1, 2026, and ending July 31, 2027. This position reports to the Dean ofthe Faculty of Social Science and Humanities. The position is subject to budgetaryapproval.

Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

The Academic Associate will teach seven courses in the Legal StudiesProgram across the Fall, Winter, and Spring/Summer terms. Courses for the2026-2027 Academic Year may be delivered in-person, online, or via a hybridizedformat. Each course will be taught in the modality established at time ofstudent registration in June 2026.
The AcademicAssociate's primary duties will include preparing, delivering and grading allcourse material, assignments, quizzes and exams as assigned. They will  also be available for consultation withstudents during and following completion of the course. Duties may include thesupervision of teaching assistant(s).
