The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving project governance, ensuring adherence to standardized processes, facilitating cross-functional collaboration, and enabling data-driven decision-making across multiple projects and programs.

This role is critical in strengthening delivery predictability, improving transparency, and supporting the evolution of a high-performance delivery culture. The PMO will act as a bridge between client leadership, delivery teams, and internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives and project success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Governance & Process Excellence:
    • Establish and maintain standardized project management processes, templates, and frameworks (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
    • Implement and monitor KPIs, health checks, and delivery dashboards (e.g., Jira, Power BI, Confluence).
    • Conduct regular project status reviews, risk/issue assessments, and escalation management.
  • Stakeholder & Client Engagement:
    • Serve as a trusted point of contact for client leadership, delivery managers, and business stakeholders.
    • Facilitate executive-level reporting, steering committee meetings, and milestone reviews.
    • Proactively identify and resolve impediments impacting project delivery.
  • Agile & Delivery Enablement:
    • Support Agile transformation initiatives, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
    • Champion continuous improvement through learning sessions, process audits, and feedback loops.
    • Partner with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Engineering leads to ensure smooth execution.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making:
    • Develop and maintain real-time dashboards for project performance, resource utilization, and delivery forecasts.
    • Analyze project trends, identify risks early, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Knowledge Transfer & Documentation:
    • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation (One-Pagers, process guides, RACI matrices) for transparency and scalability.
    • Support onboarding and knowledge sharing for new team members and projects.
  • Compliance & Reporting:
    • Ensure adherence to internal policies, client standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 27001, HIPAA, PCI DSS if applicable).
    • Prepare and deliver regular reports to senior leadership and client executives.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. PMP, Scrum Master (CSM/PSM), or Agile certifications are a plus.
  • Experience: 8+ years in PMO, project management, or delivery leadership roles, preferably in IT, software development, or digital transformation.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Expertise in Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Power BI, Excel, and other collaboration tools.
    • Familiarity with Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban), DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
    • High emotional intelligence, cultural sensitivity, and ability to work across time zones and teams.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
